Responsible Travel

As well as having an Australia based office, Mantra Wild Adventures has its ground base Operator in India. Our direct presence in India means that we are much better able to control the content of our itineraries, the actions of our suppliers, and the style of our Tailor made travel arrangements.

Mantra Wild Adventures mission is on a belief that Small Group Journey and Tailor made travel arrangements allow for more genuine experiences with local people and their environments, and allow us to avoid the offensive traits of mass tourism. We aim to do the following as part of the key aims of responsible tourism:

Win-Win for local communities and tourism industry

The way we do this is by employing local people on the ground, supporting local Not for Profit causes in different areas, and educating our client's about the local issues of the areas they travel to. Our client's have a unique opportunity to donate to a cause and visit where their money goes to, spending valuable time with local communities if they chose to. We don't overly market this part of our tours. Mantra Wild Adventures believes that giving back to communities can be in many different ways i.e. through spending time, buying a local product or being educated to now know the difference in future choices. The true meaning of giving is anonymous without exploiting, boasting or financial gain.
